FAQs

There are 2 ground freight mode services: LTL (Less than truckload or less than load). This shipping method is when you take only a small part on carrier’s trailer and cargo delivery is scheduled according to carriers’ plan. It is suggested for small shipments, low value items and when you do not have a due date to get goods delivered at destination.

LTL service is commonly used for inland services within Mexico for those cargoes which arrive by vessel as LCL cargo. FTL (Full truck load), is when cargo is enough to fill an entire truck or when goods are fragile, perishable or when delivery time is an urgent matter. Also recommended when weight of cargo will jeopardize handling at transshipping points on LTL freight companies’ hubs. FTL service is also the common way to cross goods from borders from North to South known as Transit Customs Regime (Inbound or Outbound). No, it is not. More than 70% of air shipments between USA and Mexico are sent in commercial aircrafts. The United States of America authorities only allow to certain exporters certified by TSA as “known shipper” to send their goods in commercial aircrafts. We can help you to confirm if your vendor in USA meets this certification.
